How to run Windows XP?

1. Get Windows XP iso at https://archive.org/details/windows-xp-all-sp-msdn-iso-files-en-de-ru-tr-x86-x64
   • Download the following for 32-bit:

   NOTE: Windows XP x64 Edition with Service Pack 3 (SP3) -DOES NOT OFFICIALLY EXIST! (Only SP2, SP1)
   
   Windows XP Professional with Service Pack 3 (x86) - CD VL (English)

2. Use UTM app and follow instructions at https://mac.getutm.app/gallery/windows-xp
3. Run the VM in UTM - don’t forget to select the iso in the UTM UI for this VM before your run.
4. To transfer files to the VM, best way is to mount various iso files. If you want to convert a folder to an iso, in macOS, you can
   1. Use Disk Utility -> FIle -> New Image -> New Image from Folder -> Select folder -> Image format as DVD/CD master -> Save.
   2. Run hdiutil makehybrid -iso -joliet -o <folder-name>.iso <folder-name>.dvdr.cdr
5. To use this iso inside the VM, simply replace the Windows OS iso with this iso. This is equivalent to inserting a CD/DVD into the Windows XP machine.
